I've been in dozens and dozens of stocks and participated in their message boards. The one thing most have in common is....they all think they have the greatest stock and products ever! So while I too believe AMBS is the greatest stock ever and their pipeline the best....I try to not let my emotions blind my objectivity, cuz I've seen many of those stocks get rocked, BIG TIME, to the dismay of the shareholders!
I'm not saying that will happen to AMBS, I'm sure AMBS will do well. I'm just saying that the expectations Gerald built up for 2014 haven't been met. No way will we up list in 2014, no way will we not need a RS, no way will we get a "significant portion of the 150 million RUO" in 2015. Things have not shaped up the way we expected at the beginning of the year.
I pay attention to such things, as well as hold out hope for the future. It's how I decide how much to invest, or take off the table. AMBS is not my religion or my family, however it is a passion. But I try to keep my passion for it in check with reality and how well the company executes. We'll soon see.
