While I understand that trust is built upon a foun

Have trust, but check and check again, because as you have demonstrated so well:"If a shareholder believes the company is headed in the wrong direction and continues to hold their shares, they have no one but themselves to blame if the company fails to execute." However, the key misunderstanding here is 'how is one to know that the company has changed direction and maybe heading off course' without constantly comparing present daily direction with all past communications.
You know, it's one thing not to be honest or to down right lie. It's another to omit or withold information which would have provided greater resources for ones own decision making skills - and IMHO, therein lies the past communication tradgies of this compny and our current day conversation.
Its kind of like the former Pres. Bill Clinton - "I took a puff of marijuana, but I did not inhale." Accountability, credibility and utmost respect are forged by clear, accurate, articulate and unwavering communications, as in 'a mans word is his bond'.
I don't know about what types of business contracts you've been involved with in your time, but in my business which is the hard ball, union controlled and mob influenced construction rackets of NYC, a mans hand shake and his word are more important than any written contract or big name law firm representation - something that young Gerald has yet to learn. The Street is ruthless Warps - and painfully evidenced on 07/31. Lets not repeat the past my friend.
