Yet you avoid the point of that any company with, or hires, a Mechanical - Fuel Additive,-etc,-Engineer and staff can just build their own version for a few million dollars at most.
There is no wise fiscal or business reason to spend upwards of 99% of that cost (400-500 million as you suggest) to buyout a small unproven and unprofitable company.
The technology can be replicated far cheaper to any business entity that chooses to enter this field.
Machine sale possibly, buyout for a few million and pennies per share possibly, but for 400-500 million never.
