nelito: Let me spell it out to you the thousandth time: if Urano stimulates the natural production of MANF in the body through another "small molecule," that does not involve us! Our patent is to manufacture MANF outside the body and inject it in, "recombinant MANF." He has said a few times now, and again in this most recent message that they hope to stimulate MANF naturally in the body. Urano is a good scientist. If he says he has "hope" to stimulate MANF through a small molecule without creating toxicity....I have to take him at his word. He has researched MANF in the lab about as much as anyone.
That does NOT help us!
But treating "wolframs" (diabetes) is different than treating damages to the "eye" resulting from wolframs. I am hoping our patent of recombinant MANF injections is still being used by Urano to treat the eye.
We'll know a little more tomorrow when his article is released.
