No one knows at this point what the outcome will be. Urano is a researcher, and is clearly focusing on multiple approaches. It's far too early to determine the success or failure of MANF in this particular disease. It's quite possible that MANF will not work as effectively as a competing treatment in all diseases being studied, but it doesn't have to in order for the company to achieve great success. There will be failures along the way, I am sure of that. To use a football analogy as is often done here, the greatest quarterbacks with the greatest passing records typically also have the most interceptions. Putting the ball in the air always involves risk of failure, but it's those completed passes that win championships.
