This is how I understand it;
They can't just spin off straight to an uplisted market. They are a spin off, and not truly 'starting with a clean slate'. They will have to come out on the pinks, then qualify for an uplisting after meeting all the requirements. They are free to leave the FITX ticker behind and go through the process; but to start out immediately they will be on the pinks. Now I am not saying it will be impossible for them to eventually uplist or work on a fast track - but that is how it should be.
I wasn't able to find an example otherwise, but maybe I didn't look very well...My original concern was the new ticker would trade in the Canadian exchange. I view the TSX as a downgrade listing, LOL. It doesn't look like that will happen - spin out to the pinks, otcqb, larger boards from there.
