2 -The town did not sign off on anything. It was read into the minutes.
4-the building permits were issued to Jim Shaaban in October of 2013, more than a month ahead of the meeting. The stated use of the building on the permit was Agricultural Storage. Not medical marijuana facility. The permits were granted before the town was informed of their end use at that council meeting. The pole barn application was approved because it met the regulations for that type of structure on land zoned agricultural value added.
The building was not approved as a medical mj grow op. The company by that time knew what it was for when they applied for the permit,the town council did not. It was simply a permit issued by the building department.
