I guess there were no spelling experts available to help catch this error. LOL
See how easy it is to make a mistake? In the nuclear power field, we build in several independent checks to most processes in an effort to eliminate errors, but even then some still slip through. In that world, a simple typo in a procedure could result in someone operating the wrong valve or component, and could lead to serious problems. Probably not so much for errors in CEO blogs. But you are right... someone should have checked the release before it was published. Perhaps someone did and simply missed the error.
I have read everything Gerald has published both in blogs, press releases and filings. Occasionally an error slips through. I've corrected him myself on a few of them in the filings, and he's promptly issued amended filings correcting the error or omission.
Errors are going to happen. The goal is zero errors but that's impossible to reach when humans are involved. You identify the errors, correct them, implement steps to prevent recurrence, and move on. This one was minor and most will likely see it as such.
