Jacmar: The mb has gone through some ups and downs

People have to decide for themselves what is appropriate for them to invest.
On face book I post political posts on occasion. I used to be Republican, but I've decided to not to affiliate with either party because I'm frustrated with both. So, I decided to judge politics on an issue by issue basis, rather than trying to allow party affiliation to shape my views. As a result, sometimes I call Obama a "Chicago Thug" when I'm talking about certain issues, but I'm defending him on other issues like: not putting U.S. boots on the ground in the Middle East. I find this very liberating to either praise or criticize anyone politically and not care about what Party they affiliate with.
You should try it. You really can't trust anyone in Washington....or on Wall Street. The Founding Fathers were very distrustful people. I like that.
I rely less now on loyalty. I was a huge Mitt Romney supporter. But during the election I'd even criticize him...my guy...when I thought he was wrong. I guess my philosophy politically and in the investment world has led me to rely less on loyalty and more on issue by issue performance. I have found that loyalties are often taken advantage of. Both Parties in Washington give lip service to their loyal supporters, but then they go and do what's best for them personally and don't give a damn what's best for heir loyal constituents.
I'm loyal to my wife and certain relationships, but don't rely on loyalty as much with my investments or politics.
