CNN will post anything that is issued by that news wire. It's common practice and how press release wires work. It is distributed to various websites. Even Marketwatch has it posted. It's not as if they selected to post it because it is more news worthy than something else or if to highlight it. Now, if CNN actually ran an original story about Amarantus and posted it on the front page, you'd have something. Otherwise, there is nothing special about CNN posting it.
