biotechexpert, because I have a sizable investment

That kind of baseless analysis is about as valid as the stuff Blojobbi posts over in his little empire. For the record, I've followed your posts on Yahoo while you were still posting there, and I don't feel you have an agenda here to discredit the company or create negative sentiment among shareholders. Some here forget the relentless posting that occurred here leading up to the shareholder vote on the additional AS proposal. I was viewed by some as sticking my head in the sand because I didn't share those concerns. Childish behavior in my view. I felt Gerald made a great case for the need for the additional shares. When I have concerns, I take my concerns to the source. With that said, have you voiced your concerns directly to management either with emails or phone calls? Seems like a logical first step for any truly concerned shareholder. I don't make the assumption that Gerald or anyone in the company bothers to read this message board. I would be concerned if they had enough free time to do that.
I did observe that Dave has started posting on Yahoo again today.
Regarding Gerald, my view is this... yes, he is young for a biotech CEO, but there are other young biotech CEOs out there... yes, he is a former football player, but his degree at Stanford clearly wasn't chosen to pursue a career as a football coach or even remain connected to the sport. Yes, Gerald has made mistakes. Show me ANY CEO who hasn't made mistakes, and we can place him on a pedestal. Gerald's biggest flaw may be his enthusiasm for the company and where we are headed, which makes him susceptible to overzealous statements at times and perhaps unrealistic timelines put out to shareholders. I think he wants us to share in his excitement, and that sometimes leads to unrealistic expectations because of some things he says, which are treated by many here as Moses coming down from the mountain with tablets written in stone.
I remind everyone this is a long-term investment. Chilling out over the obstacles and mistakes and missed "projected" deadlines will make for a happier life while we continue to watch this amazing company move ahead step by step.
