Bill Chaaban says marijuana has never been his thing, but the 42-year-old has big plans to add grade-A medicinal cannabis to the repertoire of products his Madison Heights-based firm hopes to soon produce.
Initially, Chaaban expects to staff about 50 employees, but he could see the company hiring as many as 1,000 more if the operation takes off and hits full capacity.

Lakeshore KNEW what BC was building and how many for. Way back in April. Now, BC had to know 1 of 2 things: either the town wanted that size or they did not want that size. If BC knew Lakeshore did not want that big of an operation, then his actions(which I formerly posted as my not understanding his foot dragging, not schmoozing with important people ...) might be best understood by this appeal to HC and to the grandfathered in clause based on precedent.
This also explains CEN's propensity to delay and cancel and then postpone their open house meetings for now a Q & A session with limited seating(really limiting the no. of peeps allowed to participate, & getting to 'select' who will be assigned the lucky ticket ---smart: he is now [u ]in control of the quality [/u] of the 'opposition') .
I have many PMs from several people all espousing very believable and confusing pints of view. It's hard to digest it all.
But what about this idea as stated above, based on the 2014-04-15 statement? I'm sorry, but right now I think this whole thing is potentially a long, bitter, drawn out court battle, which we win in the end ... most probably.
Still Long, Strong, and all in, but longing for those lines of production.
