If I had not been here since January and followed along everyday, I could assume maybe we never were forthcoming, thing is since I have read every PR and listened to every meeting and read every scrap of news. I know FITX from Day 1 has wanted the town involved, they are having I think a second town hall meeting. FITX is a business, they are growing for MEDICAL reasons, we will never grow for recreational as quoted by Bill early in the year.
I honestly would not be as annoyed if the town leaders were not blatantly lying. Bill has sat with them in the hall, spoke to them numerous times. And my god, at what point does the "lets be adults here" factor kick in and they realize if even 4 months ago they wanted to know more, they could have asked any 5 year old to google the word CEN Biotech, FITX and literally every detail be in their face to read up on. Bill is building as big as he SAID he would, nothing is a surprise here. Any Judge will look at the documents, see the mayor and council early on have support for them, approve the build and zoning, know all the news needed was freely out there including most recently even the financials. Then hear the town say "We had no idea, we do not like this" Nope....judge will roll eyes and rule with us. The benefits of numerous lawyers on BOD.
In the end, Bill is doing everything to accommodate the town on the Q&A open house. He doesn't need to do that, but he is, if they do not take that as "We want your minds eased and we want you to like us and trust us" I have no idea what is.
