A New Look At Cloud Video Surveillance With Smartvue S12

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 29, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Smartvue® Corporation, the leading cloud software and video surveillance company, announces a major upgrade to its surveillance platform with Smartvue S12®, adding several new improvements and design updates as well as cost reductions. Updates include a responsive design, scrolling timelines, and extending all cloud features to eliminate the need for customers to update and maintain software.

"We are excited about the upgrade. It is the result of product feedback from our customers, as well as significant engineering and design efforts from our team over the last three years," said Martin Renkis, Founder and CEO of Smartvue Corporation. "We are committed to providing the most innovative surveillance solutions to our customers worldwide."

Smartvue S12 is cloud based, meaning software is stored on the cloud and automatically updated when new features and releases come out. The move to a cloud based solution removes that extra burden of maintaining software, so users can focus on managing and monitoring video surveillance from any device anywhere in the world.

S12 has a clean new look and is more intuitive than ever before, delivering an easy and visually pleasing experience. No matter if you are monitoring video surveillance from a smartphone, tablet or computer, S12's responsive design automatically configures to the ideal size based on the size and rotation of the screen. In addition to the clean new look and feel, one of the most noticeable upgrades includes a scrolling timeline. S12 enables users to seamlessly scroll through surveillance data and create custom length clips for sharing.

Sharing video surveillance is easier and faster than ever before with Sharevue, a new feature that enables users to send custom length video clips to anyone with just a couple of clicks. Navigating through camera data and live surveillance is more intuitive than any other solution on market. S12 has Mapvue and Sitevue, which enable users to see floor plans and geographic maps populated with interactive camera icons that show live camera previews when you hover them.
