(OTCQB: EKFC), the holding company for Eureka Bank (the "Bank" , announced today that it has authorized a stock repurchase program to acquire up to 10% of the Company's outstanding common stock (or 122,547 shares). Repurchases will be conducted through open market purchases, which may include purchases under a trading plan adopted pursuant to Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 10b5-1, or through privately negotiated transactions. Repurchases will be made from time to time depending on market conditions and other factors. There is no guarantee as to the exact number of shares to be repurchased by the Company.

For the three months ended June 30, 2014, the Company reported net income of $402,000, or $0.34 diluted earnings per share, as compared to net income of $349,000, or $0.29 diluted earnings per share, for the three months ended June 30, 2013. For the nine months ended June 30, 2014, the Company reported net income of $1,114,000, or $0.93 diluted earnings per share, as compared to net income of $1,022,000, or $0.83 diluted earnings per share, for the nine months ended June 30, 2013. The increases in net income were primarily attributable to a decrease in interest expenses and the provision for loan losses, offset by an increase in noninterest expense.
