Roger on that, I received like 3 reimbursement checks from the WCOM settlement that totaled about 10% of my loss if that. Have another ( VTSS ) that's been settled for years but still awaiting distribution order, ( awaiting order since 2008 ) go figure! Maybe I'm the only one that filed a claim and they don't want to give me the entire 8 million or whatever it is, lololol! Believe it or not I actually had that happen once, it was NCDI and apparently I was one of a few who filed a claim, I actually made money on the shares but still was awarded 16k for damages.
Look ENRON and WCOM are both good examples of what can and does go wrong with publicly traded companies, there is no guarantee and unfortunately you can lose it all in minutes. The BOD is supposed to guard against that but they sure didn't help in those 2 cases did they.
