Rod was a rookie at bat and struck out. Although SIRG had an excellent BOD, apparently none of them had ever actually developed a mine and none of them knew of BLM permitting problems. Rod made mistake after mistake and it cost him.
Rod lost at least a million dollars but seems content to spend his days at the beach being a beach bum.
