I hope this is not becoming i-flub 2.
This whole CEO and GC issue is borderline inane IMO. Why? Because he has an amazing BOD, BOA etc who have been through these wars before and are loaded with industry contacts. Thinking that what is occurring is just GC's doing and what he says is not reviewed by them is also not likely.
Parsing every word can be entertaining for a while but becomes counter productive. End result is a document of 1000's of pages that no one knows what it really means and the loopholes or opportunity for misuse is wide open. ( ie look at gov or legal stuff).
AMBS has science proving up, multiple growing pathways to revenue in billion $$ markets, an amazing team to guide to the advantage of all (stockholders included) and if that is not sufficient reason to look forward to a reward the position should be sold and replaced by one thought to be superior.
It is also short sighted to think GC thought up the increase in AS on his own IMO. It is part of a very large plan. A plan above our full need to know right now. Thinking that GC is doing things counter productive to those boards direction would be another reason to sell and move on.
