Then why post? You would do well to wait until it is clear that the technology has a reason to live before investing one red cent. Also, waiting to know how the business will be shaped in the future is extremely important at this juncture.

This has always been a gamble. But given the current state of the technology, investing with what is known is a complete gamble.

All we know is that they couldn't make it work themselves, so they have brought in a, supposedly, competent engineering firm.

I believe that the firm is doing their DD with the technology and will decide to move forward or not based on their findings.

I also believe that if they do decide to move forward that waiting to find out how big a bite they will take out of the value of the company is prudent.

You tell me why this does not make sense. But don't expect me to respond to your criticisms or concerns.
