Different Strokes for different folks. Dave is worried about dilution. While that may be a valid concern, it doesn't seem to be one shared by most posters here.
That doesn't mean Dave should leave the board. As someone else already pointed out, I just don't want to be reminded daily about possible dilution ahead. No amount of discussion about possible dilution (that hasn't happened yet) is going to change my vote on the AS proposal. Increasing AS is a calculated risk but one that seems justified based on the other goals stated (spinoff, hostile takeover, strategic acquisitions).
GLTA. Interesting days ahead for shareholders. I believe many here will become wealthy from this investment, but in the meantime enjoy your life and don't spend it fretting over what "might" happen.
I "might" get killed on my way to the post office today, but that doesn't stop me from making the journey. Plans are in place in case that happens.
