I think some take industry knowledge as insider knowledge. He has no knowledge of what's happening inside the company but seems to be plugged into the rumor mill circles. I don't find that hard to believe, but I take it for what it's worth.
I also don't find it hard to believe he's seen a lot of companies fail due to manipulation that could potential save lives or make a substantial impact and feels the need to support the underdog in what little way he can. If this is totally an act, no big deal.
Watson has said over and over again thinks like - "All opinions, all my best guesses and that's all folks." He uses phrases like "Sound like" as opposed to others who say things like "the partnership is a done deal".
I remember he was one of the first ones to say Amarantus could may go it alone on LymPro and was right about that while others were saying a partnership would be announced any day.
He also states he's not invested in AMBS. With the tone and timing of his posts I could also believe that, but doesn't really matter.
