I'm all for optimistic views of our share price, but MNST was not a penny stock in 2003 - maybe back in the '90's?. Taken directly from their 2004 10K report, they detail their quarterly stock price:
High Low
Year Ended December 31, 2003
First Quarter $ 4.50 $ 3.17
Second Quarter $ 4.50 $ 3.89
Third Quarter $ 6.24 $ 4.20
Fourth Quarter $ 9.40 $ 5.79
The $0.27 figure that you quote may be a result of current share structure after the splits over the last 10 years. From what I can tell, MNST had ~10M shares in 2003 as they had net income of just under $6M and EPS of $0.58. Big difference to our current share structure - 1/350th of the amount of O/S.
I've seen many people here compare us to Apple, Google, Amazon, now Monster, etc. These companies are on the extreme end of successful stocks over the last 20 years. Is the potential there for FITX - yes to a certain degree, but let's be careful about how our hope doesn't get out of control and turn into expectations. The market will grow considerably, but there will be tremendous competition. If I'm a consumer, my choice will be driven by price and quality of product. How will we significantly differentiate ourselves from the competition to become the behemoth that some are expecting?
Yes, I hope we see $2/share at some point, though I expect it to be $0.25/share over the course of the next 6-9 months based on license, initial sales and the possibility of international exposure and RXNB affiliation. Some may think this is far too conservative. After that, it will be how we execute the marketing of our product to expand our customer base and time this with the expansion of our capacities to support such growth in demand.
