You point makes no sense as the quote I am refering to can be traced back to 1994.

2. "Newswatch: Innovation Goes Under Leaving Substantial Debts to Creators, Printers, and Investors," The Comics Journal #166 (February 1994), pp. 34-37.

Wow that's really pathetic, no doubt in my mind that duke is here for the wrong reasons

What a dick, and a joke. the company stopped over 20 years ago and someone just updated it this last week. Gota love you clowns
Yeah I get it, you talk about the convertibles as if the board and myself are rooting for them...give me a break. It seems to me the only thing you know about Red Giant is the convertibles. The reason I'm here is because of the potential of TRU in November, GSL doesn't need to be the next Superman in order for us to move substantially from this pps. We don't need to land on the moon, we just have to get off the ground. IMO we break even with GSL we could see .01.
Campiti left Innovation in 1993[1] to launch Glasshouse Graphics, a studio/agency for illustrators, writers, painters, and digital designers. Shortly thereafter, in early 1994, Innovation closed, leaving substantial debts to creators, printers, and investors.[2]

Here's what I think!

https://pennymann.wordpress.com/tag/toxic-financing/

Enough said.....duke out.
Cause they can make more from share prices as a whole company rather then by themselfs.
I agree with you gimme. Benny's treatment of his shareholders is unacceptable and he needs to prove himself to all of us. We can all agree that the last shareholder video turned out to be a let-down. My hope is that the factored revenues weren't available yet and they needed to money to purchase the IPs because of last minute complications with TRU (like coop said) OR they needed the money to fund possible upcoming PRs since as you may recall in the video Benny said they could cost 5-10k to PR something. All jmo though. Would love to hear what you think
Agreed , but why would they when their companies (instrinsic, active , and glass house ) all stand to make bank , while funded with what is ultimately our money

I agree, having all the board members' company in REDG would make for a better company. I would not have minded if Benny would have brought them together before REDG was a public company. I would hate to see REDG pay real money to acquire these companies.

I'm not thrilled about REDG having intimate business relationships with the board members' company. I do understand the potential advantages. But, Benny being CEO and founder of REDG, having separate companies dealing with each other is on a completely different level.
I agree, but if you go there.... all the board members should so the same. That would be a kick ass company. I've been saying that since day one.

I agree.

While, I don't like Benny using his own company as a supplier, I'm not going to argue against it. I think he should have folded his printing company into Red Giant from the beginning and avoided any appearance of impropriety.
Magik~~~~ Hope you are having a nice Holiday weekend. Guess it's about mail time.
No big deal, I think the point came across that Benny has the ability to print.
Well, I've been here longer than most and while I do not agree with everything he has posted-there's no way you can say that there's not more than a few concerns.

Mr Powell's misstatements and missteps speak so clearly for themselves that I can barely hear what he has to say. All of it-damn near, could be alleviated if he or a senior REDG member would communicate with us a little more.

If REDG were 'self sustaining' and were not using our money at the most horrid terms imaginable-they may not owe us much. By the FACT they have made no profit, continue to dilute, and issue toxic notes on OUR money, makes it imperative that they communicate with us...and they don't.

As an idea man Mr Powell has done well. As a business CEO he has been a failure up to now.

I did write over 100k of four different books. I didn't know how many over 100k of each that he had printed.

Before you responded, I was going to edit in a correction to read " at least 100k of each of four different books". I think that would be a more accurate statement.

Without looking back at the articles, it's hard to know how many went to Diamond/ comic book stores and how many Benny kept.
He printed more then that, 400,000 for may, another 100,000 for comic con and he still has leftovers
Totally agree.
