Mike, it appears that by establishing the $20M in funding, Gerald was sending a clear message to our potential LymPro partners that the company is capable of commercializing LymPro alone, if necessary. The funding strengthened the company's position at the negotiating table. Potential partners trying to take advantage of the company's limited funds and pre-revenue status by making low-ball offers would now have to bring serious offers or risk losing the option to partner with Amarantus.

I have to believe this is not a bluff on Gerald's part, and he would indeed go it alone if necessary to maximize value of the LymPro asset to shareholders.
