I have attended two Conferences where Watson claim

I have attended two Conferences where Watson claimed to be in attendance. Through the message board I asked him to come up to me and introduce himself both times, but he didn't. He claims to have seen me, but chose instead to remain incognito. So, I'm not sure what to think about that?
In Las Vegas when I spoke with Gerald in the hallway after his presentation, there was an elderly gentleman that sat down on a chair on the other side of the hallway within earshot of our conversation. I was so absorbed with talking to Gerald that I didn't even think to go up to this other man. He did look rather professorial, but I have no idea if it was Watson.
I enjoy watson's posts, they are thoughtful and he seems to have a handle on science. But to be truthful, his predictions haven't been any better than mine. And my predictions haven't been very good. Many of the milestones over the past year have been delayed to this September. We'll know soon just how right or wrong we've all been.
After the second Conference in Santa Monica where watson failed to make a connection with me....I lost a little confidence in his story. In jest I made up a little story on the mb about when watson was in Grad school where a streaker girl slipped on the ice right in front of him. He stood there looking at her....stunned! Then one of his colleagues yelled out to him: "WATSON HELP HER!" He hasn't responded to me since on the mb. It was just in jest!
I need to reread that Dale Carnegie book on "How to Win Friends and Influence People! LOL.
