I asked a question yesterday on the call, challenging Gerald. I have to admit after 23 years in the bio sector that he did an incredible and flawless job of navigating through the answers. He didn't evade one question and the only place he was careful, was where he indicated forthcoming events and he would stop short or stall on saying some things with specificity, all normal and no sense of lacking transparency.
He was open, on course with a direct and tactful response, he solidified my take on where AMBS is headed. The key on everything for me is a larger pharma entering this game before market swell takes place, this would be a 3-9 month time frame depending on the thera-diagnostic sides. I could easily see where he's going with splitting regional segments off and licensing these for capital and further growth, calling that out alone is a clear sign to me that they are approaching companies to gain capital and enter into deeper pockets. The technology is what stands as incredible. The ability for this company to grow fast and get traction is incredible. To the point of many others, the fact that this sits at 3 cents, 8 cents or 17 cents makes no difference. The market potential in even one aspect of the business is worth hundreds of millions, and fairly quickly. Not many bios can bring a diagnostic to the market this fast, the return is incredible via potential compared to just a thera-disease tech standpoint.
Bottom line, this is a great company to be long in, the people bashing it clearly are spreading propaganda on short intentions and simply stating #$%$. Just listen to the call, obviously there's a lot more data out there and Googles spares us the time of wasting copying it in. DD will pay off for people investing here. This is by far one of my favorite bio stocks out there. Best of luck to all. Less"
If I recall correctly, when I listened to that CC all but one of the callers during the Q&A session were male. And one of the male callers had a name the operator couldn't pronounce, it was unintelligible -- I think that caller had an American accent. I googled the names of the other callers whose names I could understand but none of their bios fit the watson persona. So...
I'm agnostic on the watson mystery-insider-guy persona that he's cultivated. His older comments hint that he was an ambs investor. I can't help liking the guy though. He did say some nice things to risk during what had to be a tough time for his family and watson's pro-ambs comments help feed my desire for confirmation, i suppose.
Cheers.
