A 340-thousand square foot medical marijuana facility to be located north of Kincardine has recieved approval on its building permits. The Kincardine News reports the Advanced Medical Marihuana Canada facility, to be located in the Bruce Energy Centre Greenhouses, was issued a building permit by the Municipality of Kincardine last Friday. Plans for the facility include the office and shipping and receiving areas to be torn apart and turned into new office space which will expand into part of the existing greenhouse, a large security area and room for curing and processing. The company hopes to have the plant operating by the winter and producing around 150 pounds of medical grade marijuana each day, it's the largest license ever issued in Canada.
