Again complete misinformation. But as nasrat himself said, coming soon and that is really scary for us true longs lol lol
Hysterically funny alright. Pfizer/Alpharma/King + 4 yrs and several $million wasted engineering dollars still trying to modify a technology that Purdue wisely abandoned.
Perhaps a new designed extruder with less damaging heat/mechanical forces has been invented or perhaps Pfizer re-invents their patents? Who knows?
2nd Qtr 2014 new Embeda launch has failed and rumor is now 4th Qtr Oct 2014. Millions of dollars perhaps will buy Pizer something but then who would ever want to take an unpredictable new Embeda never knowing what will fail and cause serious dose dumping.
The simple answer is that they do not know, in fact Nasrat himself said very soon. It is clear that the reintroduction of Embeda is very very worrisome.
misinformation. First, they did not copy the Purdue technology and to say they did is a serious allegation, as it could result in treble damages. In fact, what occurred is that the companies settled, as they most often do, and that settlement makes it clear that Pfizer did not admit to any infringement. In addition, it is impossible for anyone except Pfizer to know what manufacturing process is used, as I have corrected the record here many many time, the patents refer to melt extrusion as but one example of manufacturing methods. Next.
LOL LOL serious breach of engineering principles??? LOL LOL hysterically funny. Elite (not even employing the inventor of their technology) and certainly not having any galenical though leaders is going to tech Pfizer how to do it correctly. LOL LOL This is so hysterically funny that I do not even know where to start. But hey. let me ask, how many patents does the CURRENT staff of this magical company have? That should be good for a few more laughs.
Unfortunately Pfizer no longer has their Elite Central Engineering staff that would have caught this serious breach of engineering principles before deciding to pay the $3.6 bil to acquire Alpharma/king. Pfizer with serious patent expirations has resorted these past 10 yrs to becoming an "acquisition" company thereby giving up "original discovery" new technology. Hundreds of key R&D personnel have been terminated.
It is sad to watch the proud Pfizer deteriorate. However when one picks an Accountant type to lead a Pharma the inevitable happens in terrible cost cutting decisions. "Penny wise Pound Foolish"

Sounds like a bunch of loser companies.

Pfizer/Alpharma/King
rfwelsh If you read my past posts on Purdue/Pfizer hot melt extrusion technology thru their patents that would help you to understand better. It is an extremely difficult engineering technology which Purdue never went forward with knowing that it would fail
Strangely Alpharma/King copied the original Purdue and were nailed by a Purdue lawsuit that forced Pfizer to pay royalties to Purdue.
Pfizer/Alpharma/King has already spent 4 years unsuccessfully to try and correct the heat and mechanical extrusion forces from seriously damaging the ER agonist polymer and the antagonist sequestering polymer which is the crux of the problem.
Because Nasrat didn't release the name of the valuation firm. But we will get to $2.10 eventually and even higher.

I used my student loans to buy ELTP.

CEO already said they are breadcrumbs. Just get rid of them in one year and manufacture 100% ART products in the 35,000 facility and 100% R and D in the 15,000 facility.

***The recent guidances and actions by the FDA related to extended release opioids and specifically oxycodone demonstrates the FDA support for abuse resistant technologies
Opioid products incorporating abuse resistant technologies have become a public health priority and these recent actions appear to be a major step towards the FDA eventually requiring that all extended release opioids utilize these technologies.
January 9, 2013, the FDA released its new draft guidance document, titled "Guidance for Industry: Abuse-Deterrent Opioids - Evaluation and Labeling". The document discusses what it will take for an opioid formulation to secure an abuse resistant label. The implications for companies that meet these expectations are significant and even more so for those that meet these requirements and have patented abuse resistant technologies.
March 2013, 48 state attorney generals called on the agency to require generic makers to produce tamper-resistant versions of opioid medicines
--the STOPP ACT - a bill before Congress NOW, introduced by US Rep's Rahall, Rogers and Keating. The law will prohibit any old-formula opiod from entering the market if the FDA has an equivalent abuse deterrent/resistant opiod approved
--CLADD petitions FDA to reject all opiods without ART
--FDA's Purdue ruling April 16, 2013 : prohibits new original non-abuse resistant oxycodone from being made in generic form, unless it has an abuse deterrent/resistant properties. FDA will not accept or approve any ANDA applications based on the original OxyContin formulation
--the FDA decision basically requires generic companies to buy or develop their own abuse deterrent/resistant technology: it effectively eliminates much of Elite's competition which has no ART thus making Elite's 2-bead ART MORE VALUABLE
--going foward all new generic and probably NDA branded opiods will be required to have Abuse deterrent/resistant properties
--May 10, 2013 Endo Health (ENDP) ruling
--Elite's Competition being taken out one by one by the FDA and later the US Congress
--2-bead abuse resistant opiods could gradually replace some of the inferior abuse deterrent opiods now on the market

I hope Elite is the next Apple. GLTY
It would take Elite and Epic 2 years or more to get site transfers from Elite to Epic. Correct?
How do you know Pfizer will take years to get Embedda on the market? Could you please post a link to support this claim. This is a giant statement.
Yes and Apple still works out of a garage.
I say give all the generics that Elite is currently making at it's facility to Epic under the same agreement as the 12 we already gave them.
This way Elite will be using all 50,000 square feet for R and D and manufacturing 100% ART products.
LMAO and it is trading at 0.34.
