It sounds like our space at Janssen Labs was pretty small. AMBS has brought on a lot of new people, and if they will be expanding even further, it may just be a space thing. We literally might not be able to fit in at Janssen Labs anymore.
All of us have speculated that Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) would partner with us on LymPro, or MANF/TBI, or Phenoguard, etc. The question is, does this move for greater space have any bearings on our relationship with J&J? I think it is hard to tell, one could make any number of arguments in either direction, for or against our partnering with them.
One thing's for sure, Gerald doesn't seem to be worried about money!! We've brought on a lot of top paid talent, we've opened up an office in Geneva, Switzerland, and now we're moving into new larger facilities in SF, at triple the cost!!
I think Barcode's observation about the address thing with us and Pharmacyclics is curious?
One thought is: we on the message board may not know what the hell is going on!! LOL. We like to pretend we're small biotech Columbos, doing our dd work on the mb. ("Doing Detective" work) But maybe Gerald has been dealing with so many factors that none of us know anything about.... that it may change everything!! I think I'm on so something here.
But, what we do fills time, and is fun. So until we are all multi-millionaires, I think we should keep doing what we're doing!!
