2013 AGM... JB was up front with all the logist
Post# of 43064
JB was up front with all the logistical issues that were encountered. It seemed like the residue removal system was working well.
The stated goal was to achieve a throughput rate of 36 tph. It was not clear if that was something only JB could achieve or if he thought he could train others to achieve that rate. They had only achieved about 1/2 of that at that time.
The processor needs clean plastic of specific types and clean HTF and the logistics in place to assure consistent input and output flows. At one point they produced 45,000 gallons "very quickly".
And then the wheels flew off. And apparently there was not enough momentum to get the financing required to put them back on.
So how are they able to move forward with a third party engineering company?
The best hope is that a quality engineering company familiar with the processor and its flaws is able to take over and fix the issues.
This is what we are being told. I expect the next announcement to be that a company had taken over the flagship and is working to assure that all manufacturing issues and process issues are addressed.
How far along well they be? Probably not far enough to prove that a commercially viable system has been achieved.
I do believe that if the 36 tph can be achieved, and all manufacturing issues addressed, that a commercially viable system will exist.
It is going to cost investors dearly. The engineering company will want a big piece of the pie. There will be significant dilution to raise the funds necessary to expand operations ahead of revenues.
Will early investors ever be made whole? Unlikely. The customers that fit the parameters will come slowly. Sales will be slow.
But there may be opportunities to pare losses.
