I'll have to say, though, Mr. Bordynuik repeated the $10/bbl cost and the WTI-$3/bbl market value over and over. That's all it took for people to start believing.

Excellent advice from Golfgod!! People should start with the person who claims to have a too-good-to-be-true technology and ask for evidence from that person before investing. The penny stocks are chock full of swindlers and almost every message board has devoted followers--that alone should make it sage advice to demand evidence of value before handing your money to someone running a penny stock. Mr. Bordynuik was already charged with fraud for cooking the books so that should double an investor's incentive for having Mr. Bordynuik provide evidence that what he's saying is true.
