In checking my notes the cultivation and production location in Clark county is 6585 West GAry AVe. It takes only 17 minutes by car to drive to the proposed Dispensary in Las Vegas.. 1921 WEstern AVe... just found another address for a dispensary.... 1130 East Desert Inn road Las VEgas..... this is very close to 1921 Western AVe..
ok will do.
thanx Vp..im not in vegas yet though!
Address is on the permit application - you can google walk it. See for yourself.
Hey Fibanotch. A fellow Las Vegan?
Nothing brick and mortar yet of course. The permit for the cultivation site is on West Gary Avenue. That is just north of Silverado Ranch Blvd, just west of the strip and east of Interstate 15. It looks to be a very good location, I have driven by it myself, but would also be interested in your opinion.
Numerous zoning restrictions limited site options of course, but after navigating those restrictions, this looks pretty good.
Nevada State Government is the "Source of Truth." Here's the link to FAQ's last updated on July 7, 2014:

I searched on "cultivation" and found references to cultivation capacity on Page 37--the first row of the table. As has been the case all along, no one knows how the state will ensure demand is met. Local jurisdictions can expand or reduce their capacity requirements as needed.
The evaluation process is BLIND to identifying information. The background checks will uncover anything and everything of concern. If anyone can determine whether the last name a person uses is grounds for exclusion, it is the State of Nevada.
By now, I hope everyone who follows the Nevada process and this company recognizes that applicants must have permits and a state certification (in any order), and then receive a business license from local jurisdictions. No step is "worthless."
This MME process isn't about who does or does not get any one permit, it is about who has the business expertise to meet the needs of Nevada's cardholders.
Just for grins, let's say you are correct and pps starts to plummet on Monday, and we hit the .20 "bog pit".
If that happens I wont lose a dime, and neither will any other longs. Why? Because you don't make money or lose money until you sell shares.
If we hit the .20 bog pit as you claim, I will be funding my new 401K trading account, finding the bottom price of TRTC, and loading up on shares at a discount before November (at the latest) state of Nevada licenses.
After November I will make a fortune on the run up after licenses are awarded with any shares I buy in your .20 bog pit.
Sounds great to me!!!!!! Bring on the .20 bog pit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watched the Weedstock conference video for first time.
DP went on for over 40 minutes, took and answered questions
for the majority of that time, and made himself available
to meet with folks afterwards to continue the dialogue.
Where were the concerned posters we hear from here daily?
Where were the tough questions posted here,
that we cannot answer, but the CEO can?
He was right there!
Tell you what, if I owned 800K shares or 1.2M and I had
questions or concerns.
Pretty sure I could find a Frontier Airlines flight to get me where I need to be.
Too much fabricated drama!
Each failure is just on step closer to success. If people like Steve Jobs were afraid of failure and didn't learn from thier failures, Apple wouldn't exist as it does today, or like it did while Jobs was alive after bringing them back from the dead.
I-Glow,
I don't doubt they will get a license if they indicate they plan to utilize it. That was the indication from the weedstock presentation, that they would start the grow that day off they were awarded the licenses. I also think they will get a dispensary license the next go around.
IMO, your posts have been overly negative, boarding on having an agenda vs being constructive. Can you get back to having a more objective outlook?
Do u or any on this board have addresses in Clark county Nevada where TRTC is or will do business?...I want to go there personally , and I will report back to this board...
Yes, the County Commission gave blanket approval for permits. So TRTC receiving a permit is not a big of a deal.
The Commission took the approach of letting the state deal with who is granted the cultivation license.

I like TRTC's chances in November GreenGro. And in this town we are all about the odds.
No one has state approval. TRTC has gotten to the furthest possible point to date. Licenses will be awarded early November
I agree maxxm. I don't think some folks are taking the Las Vegas market quite as seriously as they should. We are a very vice accepting city. I could easily envision some serious MJ conventions at some point in the near future.
Recreational marijuana will be a reality here by 2016 in my opinion. Then watch out, Katie bar the door. For now an easy to navigate medical MJ system will happily service cardholders from all other states. I expect too see a continued relaxation of any rules and regulations as the business community sees the positive benefits.
Amsterdam style tourism..
TRTC on the ground floor here, with a great, well connected, legal team, ready to take full advantage.
You always fail to mention the permits are worthless without state approval.
I am curious as to the repercussions of Peterson's wife using a name she has never used in attempting to secure a dispensary permit.
We will see how it goes with the state - but it seems you thought TRTC was certain to get a dispensary permit in Clark County and that didn't happen.

Let me get this right - by your calculations you have stated that in Nevada the the revenue generated will be $21 million:
Quote:
42,000 / 9 = 4,666 plants per acre X $1,500 lb wholesale = $6,999,999 per harvest X 3 harvest per year. = $20,997,000 per acre per year x 5 acre facility in Nevada = $104,985,000
There re several problems with your calculations.
The very first is that you are assuming every square inch of the facility is covered with marijuana plants and that isn't how it works.
Then the proposed facility is only 35,000 sq. ft according the the TRTC press release - and that is for both cultivation and production.
Then you the multiple the total number of plants by $1500 and that doesn't make any sense.
You have to look at the yield per plant etc.
But the biggest mistake is thinking there would be 4,666 plants.
First, you are assuming that the state of Nevada is going to let everyone grow as much marijuana as they can produce - which is not only unlikely but just not going to happen.
Your calculations just aren't accurate.

Glad you keep pointing out that TRTC was DENIED their FIRST ROUND of permits, which was for a DISPENSARY. Yes they were DENIED a DISPENSARY in the first round....
Still no one to sell to there.... No BLUM dispensary there.
Thanks for reminding the shareholders/posters of their first FAILURE!!! More to follow.
