Interesting speculation Dave but imo I don't think so.
Without proper communication on Monday (which I think we'll get).. it will be the longs who get hurt..
Many flippers/traders don't hold huge amounts of shares overnight.. and they would simply short/buy low and then start manipulating all over again once the dust settles..
I've got to believe Gerald and co. Will properly communicate Monday morning, hopefully before the bell or soon after.
