Question Warp,
Say I own 40,000 shares and I sell 20,000 of those shares Monday, then regret it and buy them back Tuesday. Are you saying I can't. Or that I then can't sell them until they settled on Thursday correct? (the free ride rule).
However, say I sell 20,000 on Wednesday. How do they know whether it was the 20,000 I bought on Tuesday or the 20,000 I was still holding?
