Mr. Sick is a well-respected senior executive in the Biotechnology space who has spent the majority of his career leading business teams acquire and adapt technologies for applications in Life Sciences.
Mr. Sick spent nearly 20 years with Invitrogen (now Thermo Fisher), a leading biotechnology company focused on enabling Molecular Biologists with products and tools. As the company grew through development, marketing and distributing these solutions, Sick became Vice President of Corporate Development overseeing many of the Mergers and Acquisitions in which they were involved. Business development, fundraising, obtaining hundreds of licenses, and managing $3 billion of investments via eighteen (18) acquisitions were among the notable accomplishments during his distinguished tenure at Invitrogen.
