Jason Griffith is one of the founding members of De Joya Griffith. He currently serves as President for the Las Vegas chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and is Chairman of the 2014 Annual EO Alchemy Conference to be held in Las Vegas. Additionally, Jason has and continues to serve as an officer and director for several public and private companies as well as volunteering as a judge for the Southern Nevada Business Plan Competition for the UNLV School of Entrepreneurship, as well as a member of the board for the Rebel Venture Fund, a “shark tank” of sorts for students and graduates of UNLV to receive funding for their business plans. His experiences in all of these projects give him a unique perspective, ideas, and ability to provide valuable input to assist all clients.
Jason’s career began with Arthur Andersen in Memphis, TN from December 1998 until his move to Nevada in August 2001. Once in Las Vegas, he served as the accounting manager for another accounting firm in Henderson, NV from August 2001 through June 2002. From there he became CFO of a public company with offices in three (3) countries, while at the same time starting his own CPA firm.
Jason obtained his undergraduate and masters’ degree in accounting from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a licensed certified public accountant in Georgia, Nevada and Tennessee. In addition to being a CPA, he is a Certified Management Accountant. Mr. Griffith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Institute of Management Accountants, along with being a member of the NV and TN State Societies of CPAs.
He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He regularly visits New Orleans and loves to travel.
