Kbulldog, If I may add to your guy's discussion

If I may add to your guy's discussion. Having lived in Seattle for quite
sometime the one thing that we all need to consider is the tourist aspect.
Seattle have a boat load of of tourism and unlike Colorado they also have international import and export trade right at their door step. To include all
cruise ship commerce, Lumber, Fishing, Produce, Boeing, Microsoft, (Washington is home to the world's largest developer and publisher of computer software). Amazon, Starbucks, Live stock, Music (Pearl Jam, Sound Garden)
to name a few.
I've lived and worked in Seattle for over thirteen years and when summer
arrives it's like the ultimate outdoors adult play ground. The one big draw
that Colorado doesn't have is the international water way access. I use to
watch the tourist unload at the water front and literally everyday
during the summer, thousands upon thousands would disembark
off the ocean liners and it was a made dash to all that is Seattle.
In my opinion this will create the perfect storm. Legalization,
right smack in the peek of tourism season. Keep in mind this doesn't
include the surrounding states as well as our neighbors to the north.
IMHO, I believe Washington State will surpass Colorado.
Washington State
Tourism is a $16.4 billion industry that supports nearly 150,900 jobs, contributes $1.8 billion in local and state tax revenues and ranks fourth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) produced in Washington.
