A Grey Market Success Story In the year 2000, I

In the year 2000, I watched Aremisoft open on the grey market. The first day it went down to about 4 cents or lower but then quickly ran to a dollar over the next few trading days. Eventually, the company was able to leave the Grey Market and turned into a whole new entity known as Softbrands. Shareholders of Aremisoft received shares of Softbrands, which became listed on the AMEX. Softbrands traded between 2 and 4 dollars for a few years, and was eventually bought out by another company.
Sometimes, buying a stock on the Grey Market when it's in a time of distress can be very beneficial to those that catch it at the bottom.
