Thanks 7O for the insightful post. I heard of the "lie" and wanted to know more. I signed up at MarketMerger but can watch it only with no audio for some reason. After reading your post I'm glad it was quite insignificant really.
Copperhead, I must take you to task on your overly emotional response. 7O was not calling Marty a liar, simply analyzing an occurrence he seems to know a bit about and concluding that it was no huge deal. In the OTC world companies are guilty till proven innocent. Too much lying and hype. We investors watch constantly for signs of a scam. Witness most fail. As people who have invested much in this company we have the right to analyze not only performance DD but every facet of info at our disposal. I had never seen Marty up close and personal before and when that happens we all hope for an intelligent, thoughtful, honest leader at the helm who gives us confidence. Apparently the interview was mostly just that, albeit mostly a rehashing of what's been said before. So that's good. But you must agree there are a few things going on (like hiding O/S, lack of guidance, etc.) that are giving us concern and make us look closely at everything Marty does and says, even hang on his every word and expression. You must admit there's just a hint of distrust creeping in around the edges these days among all of us.
Further, we are all frustrated and concerned in these pivotal days. Criticism and observations/opinions are DD too I feel. It doesn't mean we are any less committed, simply trying to fathom what's what and "talking amongst ourselves", looking for clues good or bad, venting even. There are none of us that don't have our fingers crossed at this point.
Having said this I will make one observation I am sure might piss you off as well. I have been in business a long time. You learn to read people, have impressions about them as you watch and listen. Although many would think it minor, I have always noted how Marty's face looks in photos when everyone else in the shot is beaming and happy: overly serious, not excited, kind of a deer in the headlights, almost like he doesn't want to be there or got surprised or feels guilt, kind of a social "nerd". Not just once but in every single PR photo I've seen of him, so it's a clear pattern. This is no automatic condemnation. Simply an impression that other people must pick up on too. You would say it's better he look this way than have a typical used car salesman look. I agree. But I have made mental note of it. Also, Marty doesn't look healthy. I'm no physician, but his eyes are yellow, his face and neck overly red for whatever reason. Perhaps just a skin condition, maybe blood pressure, who knows. But again it made an impression on me. Makes me that little bit more nervous as we know EWSI needs him for a long time.
