I would agree that having the molds are not of much value, but it's not because of the lack of tooling (you could have any molding shop set it up in their press as I would expect the mold dimensions to be common to other automotive tooling of that relative size), but rather the lack of intellectual property rights associated with the molds.
The key would be to have the design responsibility for the material (ie - the hemp composite) and be able to license that. That's where the value/money is. By just owning the molds, we're nothing more than a middle man to a job shop that may have the ability to pump out parts and that is not our core business.
Overall, I think this adds little value and is more of a marketing move that may do more to drum up interest in the many ways in which hemp can be utilized as opposed to being a specific money making project.
