According to preliminary figures, Group sales increased by 14% to around EUR 33 million after EUR 29 million during the comparable prior year period. The Group profit after minorities rose, based on preliminary figures, during Q1/2014 by 43% from EUR 0.7 million to now EUR 1.0 million. The liquid funds within the Group amounted at the end of the quarter to around EUR 39 million after EUR 23 million at the end of 2013. The number of tickets sold has continued to rise within the Group. For events in 2014, which are still to come, already more than 1.5 million tickets have been sold. This represents a new record. And the outlook for the coming months is absolutely positive with a bulging event pipeline. During the remaining year DEAG will stage many event highlights with its internationally operating Group companies. The concerts of the Rolling Stones and Böhse Onkelz were, for instance, sold out within a few minutes. In Germany DEAG will promote events with Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Lady Gaga, Andreas Gabalier and Metallica, amongst others. Metallica will also perform in Switzerland, just as Limp Bizkit and Kylie Minogue. The Austrian Group company of DEAG will present David Garrett and the Back Street Boys, amongst others, whereas in the United Kingdom Romeo & Juliet at the Royal Albert Hall will be a crowd puller just as the Sonisphere Festival with Iron Maiden and Metallica. In the field of Family Entertainment the program includes, amongst others, the show "Salto vitale" produced together with Circus Roncalli and "Night of the Jumps" (for the first time in the Schalke arena as a large-scale open air event). Concerning the remaining course of the fiscal year, the Executive Board is according to this optimistic and anticipates traditionally the highest contributions to sales and result during the last quarter.
