Members of the InterDigital team will also lead two informational sessions at the event aimed at educating attendees on evolving standards and innovation in video.

The next generation in video coding standards developed by the Joint Collaborative Team on Video Coding, H.265/HEVC delivers twice the compression capability as that of H.264/AVC. Dr. Ye's session will educate attendees on new coding technologies included in the H.265/HEVC standard, and compare the compression capability of H.265/HEVC to that of H.264/AVC for typical video applications.

- Moderator : Alex Giladi, senior manager, InterDigital
- Background : Alex Giladi's session at the DASH Industry Forum will explore ad insertion support in DASH 2.0. He will also review the application of tools provided by the DASH specification for ad insertion, and show how these can be integrated into the existing ecosystem.
