You're right I did just assume the call wasn't recorded. That may or may not be a valid assumption. It's certainly legal in New York and Canada for anyone to record a call as long as someone isn't calling from a two party consent state.
Not saying it's the case here but I've seen it often where a shareholder calls a company and is excited about all the information they heard...but when they try to recount it for the message boards they can't really remember what was said. Mr. Rivera of SSTP was a master at that--on the phone he would make investors' heads spin with excitement but once they got off the phone they drew a complete blank over what was actually said.
