I'm not short JBII. Don't get me wrong, I wish I could short them but I just have a retail investment account like most everyone else.
I have seen enough scams that I can identify them much of the time. I have a Yahoo list of around a hundred stocks I've seen in maybe about ten years which I felt were scams. All of them are down, most of them are subpenny, stopped trading or changed their ticker to refresh their reputation. It literally took me about half an hour of research in 2010 to peg JBII as a scam.
I glanced through that 'how-to' list you posted and this caught my eye: "The Shorters research

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product and/or technology even more revolutionary.
