"Filing instructions are available on the website, and you may pay by credit card, check or through a sunbiz account." I went to the online annual report filing option at sunbiz and copied and pasted my document number from the email. (...) After receiving prompts to check and update information, you just sign electronically by typing in your name, pay and hit file. I suppose anyone could have filed my annual reports so long as they paid the fees.

If you pay by credit card, your account with them would have a comparable record of your previous payments by credit card. Your checks, as well, if you pay by check. And a sunbiz account would be exclusive. Could anyone else have received that email to you?
