Nothing wrong with off topic - have you seen my posts on the private board? LOL. I think your assessment is pretty spot on. The only thing that I would push back on is the simulator aspect - I have a "sim" setup in my house and so do a lot of my colleagues. It's nothing more than some computer monitors, a joystick, and Microsoft Flight Simulator X installed on a computer. Total cost is less than a grand for the opportunity to practice a multitude of different emergencies and procedures. Everything else I agree with 100%. The guy is obviously a nut job.
