ScripsAmerica Secures $200,000 RapiMed Purchase Order for Hong Kong Market

TYSONS CORNER, Va., March 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ScripsAmerica, Inc. (OTCBB: SCRC ) today announced that the Company has secured a $200,000 purchase order for RapiMed® from Global Pharma Hub for the Hong Kong market.

ScripsAmerica's RapiMed® Pain Reliever and Fever Reducer for children will be supplied to a network of independent pharmacies operating in Hong Kong, which is home to a $988 Million pharmaceutical and OTC market expected to reach $1.5 Billion by 2019. Consumers in Hong Kong and China are driving the demand for safe
and reliable American made OTC medications like RapiMed due to environmental hazards, counterfeit medications and quality control concerns across Asia, cites ScripsAmerica.

Bob Schneiderman, CEO of ScripsAmerica, said, "We are very proud and excited to announce our first international purchase order of RapiMed. This is a significant milestone for ScripsAmerica that is the result of our diligent marketing and business development efforts in Hong Kong and partnership with Global Pharma Hub."

"With Hong Kong's robust economic growth and high standard of living, its citizens have become increasingly conscious of their health and well-being and as a result, are fueling a rapidly growing demand for safe and effective OTC medications. As RapiMed gains market awareness, we expect to secure larger orders and gain greater market share."

"With our initial $200,000 purchase order for Hong Kong, recent licensing agreement to distribute RapiMed in Canada and being in the application process to distribute RapiMed in mainland China, 2014 is lining up to be a breakout year for ScripsAmerica's global market penetration, revenues and shareholder value," concluded Schneiderman.
