(TSX-V: "AIA") ("Auriga Gold" or the "Company") announced today that it has completed a private placement ("the Offering") of 250 of Units raising proceeds of $250,000. The Units are comprised of an unsecured note with a one year term in the principal amount of $1,000, bearing a coupon of 10%, payable monthly and 3,333 common shares of Auriga. A total of 888,888 common shares were issued in connection with this offering are subject to a 4 month hold period starting February 1, 2013. No commission was paid on this offering.
