In the "Some of my faith in our goverment has been restored" department...

I just received a call from the Securities and Exchange Commission.  It was in reference to a complaint I filed about the trading activities associated with our beloved TECO.  There is a very good possibility that they may proceed with an investigation.  Of course there will be no updates available, even upon request, but it is nice to know that someone out there is listening.  I've filled out the complaint form a couple of times and eventually called a number and left a message.  The woman was very nice and professional and asked me to describe the things that made me believe there was manipulation going on here.  I told her about the after hours "form t" trades and the bidwhacks that regularly occur.  I realize that there are some that don't believe it will do any good, but what harm could it do to try.  Here's the 800 number 1-800-732-0330 if you want to do the same.
