Refuted! I discussed this attack on PharmaJanes with people who know IT. They concluded that the analysis by this wolf pack member was inaccurate and misleading.

Points refuted:
1. The CEO registers the domain so that he can have control of it. You don't want the CTO to register your domain. IT could hold the site hostage if they were disgruntled.
2. The shopping experience is secure now and so is the login area. They have an SSL certificate. Obtaining an SSL is a long process given the business PharmaJanes is in. Is there another MMJ site that is as secure as PharmaJanes? FYI: You are not directed to another server.
3. The server is using a high level admin tool, as opposed to a low end. cPanel is the leading industry standard, even used by banks. To call the IT team amateur for using cPanel is like calling Tiger Woods amateur for using carbon fiber clubs.
4. Magento and Virtumart are the best shopping carts out there.
